Usually it is a quite troublesome job to change the valve spring, the technician must remove the cylinder in order to remove and replace the valve spring. With this tool in place after removing the engine cover and the spark plug , you can force the compress air into the cylinder head which will push the piston to the highest position so the valves are fixed in position. After that the valve spring can be easily removed and changed by using the spanner wrench and the socket on this special tool.
