The Mishimoto Stainless Catless Downpipe for the 2015-2017 Subaru WRX is one of the best upgrades for increasing power. The biggest restriction in the stock 2015 WRX exhaust system is the downpipe. By installing the Mishimoto 2015 WRX downpipe, the FA20DIT 2015 WRX exhaust system is able to breathe easier; providing a significant increase in horsepower and torque when tuned. During dyno testing, Mishimoto engineers noted gains of up to 57 horsepower and 52 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels with the 2015 WRX catted downpipe and Mishimoto Subaru WRX Tuning Kit using 93 octane gasoline on the 6-speed 2015 WRX. Adding the Mishimoto Subaru WRX Performance Air Intake increased the gains to 73 horsepower and 64 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels. This downpipe has a one-piece design with precision TIG-welded T304 stainless steel allowing uninterrupted exhaust flow from the 3.5" 4-bolt exhaust flange throughout the 3.0-inch downpipe. An additional O2 sensor bung and plug in an ideal location for aftermarket wideband sensors is also included! The Mishimoto downwpipe comes with new turbine housing studs and nuts, a new turbo outlet gasket, a new 3” 2-bolt flange gasket, and all stainless steel hardware, so you don’t have to worry about rust on your existing hardware.
