The IS-Series Short Ram Air Intake System for the 1999-2002 Mercury Cougar with the 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine is designed for the most cost-effective performance and is CARB-approved for 1999-2002 models. (CARB EO#D-476-3) This air intake system is a traditional, underhood system that is placed in the stock location of the factory air-box system. Adding this easy-to-install air intake system is dyno-proven to provide a +6.5 HP gain. A high performance air filter is included with this intake system.
